Welcome! 

I'm Erica, a fashion, lifestyle, product, and artistic portrait photographer based in Minneapolis, MN. I create conceptual work for brands and individuals who believe in the power of storytelling to make us feel something; to connect, remember, and leave an impression.

My work extends beyond photography, including short-form video, stop-motion animation, and mixed media, including custom set design and hand-built backdrops. I love designing and building worlds, then bringing them to life through photography and film.

Before photography, I spent years working in behavioral health and leadership development. That experience still shapes how I approach my work. I listen closely, ask questions, and take the time to understand what a person or brand is really trying to say. From there, I build the concept, team, and world around that feeling.

I studied fashion photography in Paris and product and fashion photography in Minneapolis, and I have a BA in Psychology. After assisting commercial photographers around the Twin Cities, I opened my photography and art studio, Erica Elizabeth Studios, in the Northwind Lofts building.
